1. In October, I took the Rescue diver course on Gran Canaria with Nicolas Laatsch as my instructor. We spoke both German as English during the courses, since we did the Emergency First Responder and the O2 provider also all three courses were fun to do and the theory and practice was done seriously and extensively. It gave me a lot of confidence for the exams, who all three went perfectly. Nicolas is a serious but excellent teacher who knows that diving is fun and a serious hobby at the same time. I highly recommend him as a diving instructor and buddy. This year I will be coming back to Gran Canaria to do my Divemaster course. Lex Halsema

2. Last year, I did my Advance open water and wreck specialty course with Nicolas laatsch who made the courses both fun and safe. He has been one of the best diving instructors I have had so far and I will want to do the rescue course one day. Nicolas also introduced my girlfriend back into diving who has had a bad DSD experience in the past. He made her feel very comfortable during the pool session and helped her feel very safe during the ocean dives. She already says next vacation she will want to upgrade to the open water course. 3. Nicolas did the DSD dives for our daughter Nadine and my son Braden back in March in Cozumel Mexico. He did a great job with the kids in the pool getting them ready to go out on the afternoon dive. It was a great experience with a turtle showing up during the dive and an adventure that the kids will never forget about and an experience they love bragging about to their classmates at school. 4. My AOWD course in Safaga Egypt with Nicolas Laatsch was better than I ever could imagine. I felt very safe and I knew that my instructor is always by me prepared to help in every moment. The course was a mixture of theory and practical part and I could gain experience in every part of this course. I had so much fun that I even added the nitrox course. 5. Nicolas was the best teacher I have ever had, a man who has motivated and shown me the great pleasure of diving, the reason that I want to be a dive instructor myself. I met Nicolas Laatsch when I did my Open Water course in Egypt, I immediately felt safe with him and he helped me overcome my first fears of diving. Ever since then I have not used another diving instructor. I have met up with him in several locations around the world to get more diving experience and further my dive training. Still one of my favorite dive courses I have taken was the Deep diver specialty. Now I have reached a point that I too wish to become a dive professional and I have already made plans to visit Nicolas on Gran Canaria to do my Divemaster course.
